W212 Halogen convert to LED DIY

Converted my halogen headlights low beam and position light to LED and now after about one month I would say they works flawless and not blinding incoming traffic. You should probably not change high beam because housing it’s reflector that’s going to spread light all over the place and give bad lightning. You may check local laws before install not legal in most place for public road use

I know this topic may been infected because some are always stating it’s not going to work good to replace original halogen assembly with aftermarket led. Don’t bother me to much I did lot of reading before installing these kind of lights and really happy with the results.

Or that someone finally gets a conversation kit ECE-certified so that we can have these legal for road use over here.

Thanks Unfortunately same here in Sweden all kind of retrofit for stock headlights are illegal. But police don’t care about it here as long you not blind oncoming traffic, and these it’s hard to tell it’s not original if you not check car code.

Hopefully they start to approve this around Europe. This particular LED from osram has get approved for some cars in Germany.
