W212 - members experiences on A service costs?

Hi All

Was just wondering what you guys have been quoted by main dealers in the past to service your W212 for a A service, doesnt need ATF etc, car is under Tier 1 warranty and as its just a A do want to go to the dealer.

Just wanted to get a idea of prices that have been quoted to members here so I can try and haggle or know if its too high based on the average.

IIRC my first A last summer was around £210 for drop off at the dealer and no courtesy car.

From memory mine was around £260 but it was a hybrid car.

Thank you all for the replies, gives me a idea of the ballpark figure I should be expecting.

Has anyone had any luck on haggling on service prices? if so what was the approach, with MB they seem to use a call centre who have no leeway or interest in doing anything for you i've found.

I did! Use the https://www.mymercedesservice.co.uk/home link trying different areas. I found Oxford at a better price and although the dealer couldn't match it he knocked enough of to not make it worth driving there!

You can sometimes make savings by supplying your own correctly specified oil but not always :bannana:

Thanks, I ended up booking with MK as the price was about the same as the others, also looking at a few items under warranty, most annoying is the front parktronic has an intermittent fault, it fails with red LED's but been to the dealer twice and they cant find a fault

Seems like they can only fix if it does it there and then but probably wont happen as its so intermittent, warranty runs out end of this year, doesnt look like it will get sorted by then.
