W212 rear door interior button stuck in the recess for the button

How difficult is it to remove the rear passenger door card. As the lock push down button is stuck in its recess. Have any owners come across this and is there a known fix? I should add even though the button is pushed down as though in the lock position it still can be opened from outside of the car even though the other doors are locked
