I've just gone and ordered an E350CDi Avantgarde saloon in Cuprite Brown with black interior. Should be delivered by the end of September beginning of October.

I got carried away ticking boxes and added some extras:-:

Airmatic
Memory package
Dynamic multi-contour front seats
Driving assistance package
Tyre pressure monitoring system
Omit model designation
Rear seats split folding
COMAND
Logic 7
Reversing camera

Any comments for or against my (weak moment) choices welcome.:bannana:

Hi, i was just suggesting that you have chosen quite a high end car with a very desirable spec, thus some designo wood for example might compliment it, if you exclude the driver assist for example...

sure the designo paint option is a bit OTT, but some fancy wood wouldnt go astray..

what model did you choose? se, avantgarde or sport?

Not sure how much you drive out of town but are intelligent lights part of your selected options? The only thing I could consider important in additions, unless the option is already included.

No, had a car with a sunroof before and tried it once. Did not like the noise and being buffeted by the wind, also another source of potential problems. Just my personal opinion by the way.

I've already got Intelligent lights on the W204 and they are standard on the W212 Avantgarde. I have to agree with you Diesel Benz, it is a great system and well worth having.

I agree with your choice not to bother with one. I've never met you and therefore don't have a clue what height you are, but for anyone above 5ft 10 head room is reduced by the inclusion of this option. It also, from a point of safety, therefore isn't so good if you roll the car over, or a yob drops a brick onto the car from a bridge.

Whats the px figure on the 204 if you don't mind me asking. Is JRW Aberdeen supplying the car, was there any discount on the car, and how did you find the buying experience and quality of the new dealership (east Tullos industrial estate now?)
