I'd be tempted to check with them again as I'd strongly recommend a main dealer service on what's basically a new car, for the Mobilo factor if nothing else.
Thanks for all your responses. I'm going to go with my indi for this service at least. I know and trust them and they give me a much more personal service than I get at the main dealer. As far as Moblio goes I have confirmed that it comes free for the first 3 years anyway, so I won't lose that.
Next year I might go with a MB service plan, depending on the costings at the time. We'll see.
