W215 CL55 Coupe wing mirror same as S class ?

Hi Guys.

My 2003 CL55 Kompressor needs a new left side wing mirror inside wiring bits (Frame). I have been searching the web for a used Donor wing mirror for the CL, but not many about.

Can anyone advise if I could use the mirror off another model, and if so then which model ? I asked one dealer who was selling one from a 2003 S Class and he thought it was different

Any assistance here would be appreciated

Looks like its the same Part# for both W220 and W215 S500 and CL55K for the n/s folding wing mirror internals.
Being a German site, the nearside shows n/s as both an auto dipping (LHD) and just auto folding.
The auto folding Part# is A220 81 005 76 (Item 10 in both diagrams in the EPC)
The electric motor for adjustment is the same Part# too.

Just check the Part# is the same as yours. It should be according to the EPC.

As the CL is an S class coupe, no surprise they are the same, - many W220 bits fit the W215

Pay attention to the year. When both models had a face lift. they got different mirrors.
