My wife’s w218 CLS went in for service today.
Since the service the MFD (multi-function display on the instrument cluster) when the vehicle is unlocked and before the key is inserted into the ignition the illustrated coloured picture of the front view shot of CLS no longer appears on the MFD screen. At present only the mileage etc. immediately appears instead of the coloured picture.
Is there a simple setting that needs to be changed/adjusted on the menu so that the colour picture reappears upon entry as before or is it something that needs to be reset on Star back at the dealership?
I rarely drive the CLS so not quite sure.
