W218 front star removal

I have a 13 plate w218 AMG edition.
I have searched, but have not found if the front grill star and horizontal slat are removable, (without removing the grill from the car) from the grill or fixed.(I want to de-Chrome)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No idea about the slats (I would imagine the grill needs to be removed for that) but the star is easily removed.
