I'm getting a little frustrated with my new (to me) CLS. It's not really the car's fault I guess. It was supplied to me from the company I bought it from with 2 buckled and one cracked rear wheels. The dealer replaced them no trouble with a refurbished pair, which I was happy with as they are in almost perfect condition. But now just a week or two after getting it, I've hit a pothole (not that big) and cracked and bent a front one too :wallbash:

I could do with new tyres in the near future, so I'm considering biting the bullet and getting a set of new wheels and tyres all round. Are Mercedes wheels known to be particularly weak? I've had many cars over the years, and live in a place with particularly bad roads and I've hit some big holes before but I've never bent or cracked a wheel until this car.

Anyway, I can't justify paying the Mercedes prices for a brand new set and tyres. Are there any good aftermarket wheels/replicas that look good that would be recommended? I've currently got the AMG 5 spokes in 19s but quite like the look of the 14 spoke AMG 19s too.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hi, I've got a set of spotless mercedes wheels and Pirelli winter tyres in the garage... let me search for the old for sale thread..

With the departure of the CLS350 (replaced by GLC 43AMG), I know have a complete set of wheels and winter tyres available.

Wheels are 19" Mercedes 10 spoke:

Front Wheels: 8.5Jx19 ET34.5 (p/n A21840127027756 - A2184012702)
Rear Wheels: 9.5Jx19 ET48 (p/n A21840128027756 - A2184012802)

as sold here > 19" Mercedes 10 Spoke wheels in 7756 Himalaya Grey - Alloy Wheels Direct (2514437)

In very good condition, hardly a mark.

Shod with Pirelli Sotto Zero II tyres:

Front: 255/35R19 93V - 4mm tread left
Rear: 285/30R19 93V - 3-4mm tread left

I'd like £600 for the set, collection from OX17 postcode.
