Just had break wear warning light come on. How much life will I have. Mercedes said pads were 75% a week ago when serviced. Car is a CLS 350 CDI. Which are the best pads for the job and were will I get a new sensor?
Mercedes quoted £89 for pads and sensor.

Regards;)

Mercedes parts are probably best, £89 seems reasonable.
You weren't shopping around for cheaper were you?
Will you change them yourself as well?

When my sensor triggered, I still had 2-3 mm left so changed then within a couple of weeks to be safe, sensor was £5 and pads were about £35 if I remember (with new bolts, springs and paste).....don't know about cls but it was a 15 min a side job for me and I'm much handier with a stethoscope than spanner! :)
