Mine (sometimes) puts just the sidelights on - on overcast days?

I have only ever noticed main lights coming on with Auto; not that I always check what the lights are doing on Auto.

Possibly that I only notice main lights as so much more obvious

With my CLS GE MY2010 when in Auto the dipped beams came on, never sidelights first.

Looks superb and really professional.

Not something I would try though.

In fact I would probably take my car to dealership for bulb replacement.

I did once fit a reversing light to a mk1 Ford Escort and whilst reversing the car it caught fire.

Not one of my best DIY jobs.

A mate of mine's Dad is an Electrian, he wired in my mates Car stereo and ended up setting the car on fire

Just came across this thread. Certainly an interesting way of doing things.

I plan on just replacing the OEM fogs with LEDs (are they H7?). No intention of using them as DRLs but if I did I would still replace the H7s and do similar with the wiring to achieve DRL with ignition.
