W219 cubby hole repair ?

W219 cubby hole lid won’t stay closed it’s the before the gear leaver in between the seats is this a easy fix guys ,??

If it’s the one you rest your elbow on - mine did same. And it was very easy to fix , just took a small screwdriver to the locking mechanism that had become jammed. A little fettling and it was good as new - been good ever since ( 6-9 months now) .
