W219 HID and Starter issue

Just had the off side dipped beam warning come up. took out the starter and bulb and found it had burned out ( Bulb had fused to the Starter) Is it a common problem and were is the best place to get the replacement parts. Should i get a pair of bulbs? Please help. Mercedes are quoting £120 for the starter alone!

It should be a D1S bulb..... the igniter (or starter) is integrated onto the bulb and does not come off.
You may have to detach a plastic ring that goes around the base of the bulb.
