W219 Multimedia issues, steering controls

Hi. I have a 2008 CLS500 and my radio turns off after 30 minutes of driving . my controls at the steering wheel don't work now all I did was changing fuses for interior lighting . when I go to service and then time it tell me , please turn on the ignition . this is when the car is on . gps is stuck in one location, screen on cluster says please wait on both audio and navigation windows any idea what it could be?

Sounds like the switched live from the ignition isn’t working properly, if the ignition is off and you turn the radio on, most Mercs will turn the radio off after 30mins to save battery life.

Along with your other symptoms this would make most sense.

Just not sure about fixing it !
