Anybody got a diagram of the W220 relay box ? My dealer, while very helpful by telling me to fit a new relay before changing the compressor, still hasn't given me the EXACT relay position. He says it's #30 relay, but 50% of the relays are black, and 50% are yellow, and each colour has identical numbers on them. When I remove them there's only A,B,C, D,etc on the relay holder. Any ideas ?

If you look in your boot at the tool kit, you should have a folded piece of paper which displays where your relays are. I have had a look at mine, and the air suspension relay should be situated under the bonnet on the dirvers side. Looking from the front of the car into the "black box" the first relay in the right hand column should be the one. It is alongside one 15a and 2x7.5a fuses,

Thanks for that, will look into it soon this evening.
The storeman gave me a 'Parts list' which had the relay listed as in the 'O' slot on the right, but looking at the 'sales designation', it describes the car as an S320CDI, so I'll go by your description first.:)

It is the O slot on the front, but it depends how you view the box so I tried, in vain:D to be a little more descriptive.

Your description was ok, I put in the relay beside the fuses. Now I'll wait for a day or 2 to see if it sinks. If it does, then I'll go to the 'O' on the right hand box and try it there.
I'll go to the dealer tomorrow to see IF the CDI relay positions are different to the petrol version. Thanks again.
