W220 amplifier 220 827 3042

as it says!

In need of a Bose amp for a 2004 (facelift) W220 S500 fitted with an apparently upgraded HiFi package, it's MOST based not D2B, and was apparently also fitted to the CL55, 500, & 600. the S430 and S500, and an SL55, 500 and 600 plus any AMG derivates or so I am told.

Part no 220 827 3042 (alternatively 220 820 5589)

I have had the apparently correct part offered to me, asking for payment by Western Union/Money Gram and offering delivery by 5 day UPS, from someone who read the ad on here.

Anyone had any dealings on here after a contact like that.

Any advice good or bad?

I don't want to post the persons name because they could be genuine, hence the question.

finally found someone who can repair BOSE amp's (MOST & D2B), and also all comand parts too.

Happy to report all up and working, car's fantastic and so is the hifi!
