W220 audio 30 swap?

Hi, new guy and novice Mercedes owner with question on Audio 30....
How easy and/or expensive is it to swap out the existing Audio 30 (without cd) - to something more exciting as Comand, or even just add a cd changer? Car's a '99 S430. If a comand swap is poss, which one should I be looking out for.....and same question re cd changer. is this stuff only a dealer should do?

Search the forum with "Japan Conversion" and you will see how much work is involved.

Converting a radio is not significantly different to converting Japan spec into UK spec.
