W220 Ball joint front middle lower control arm

Hi all, I have just started to take off the sway bar drop link, once off I noticed the little ball joint that comes through the control arm and attaches to the drop link is worn, now I had both bottom arms done two years ago and doing mostly motorway miles didn't think it should be requiring renewal. I need to change the ball joint now it's disconnected from the sway bar link it should be easy!! anyone done this and can you just get the little ball joint without buying the whole arm.

Yes euro car parts stock them. Youll need a sort of press to get it out and in. Tbh even a new balljoint will be sloppy even after a few hundred miles. They are only ever hard to move when they are brand new.
