I have a 07.2003 S-Class with the wide navigation (I believe it's COMAND 2.0 MOPF), and without the BOSE option.
I want to upgrade the HU to the 2004/2005 model and retrofit the BOSE amp and speakers.
I can get them relatively cheap from a totaled car, so it'll be better than fitting an aftermarket unit, amp and speakers.
The problem is I can't go several times to buy any missing parts, so I need to have the full list in advance.
I believe I'll need: the HU, the audio gateway and the BOSE amp from the trunk, MOST cables between those three (maybe 4 for the navigation?), and the wiring between the amp and the speakers.
Do I need anything else and is there a chance for this thing to work out?
