W220 double din fitting

Hi guys, has anybody on here fitted a aftermarket double din into a 2000 w220 s500 with bose? Ive had a search on google all day but cant find proper answers. Some people in the U.S say they have managed it keeping the factory bose amp without using a harness and some say change the whole lot and rewire the speakers. But i cant find a wiring harness for it. Im not fussed about losing steering wheel controls etc.

Any advice would be great.
