Hi All

I am working through my hard starting issue, and have concluded part of the problem is the glow plugs not working.

This morning I have been checking the Glow Plug Relay and have noted that the main battery terminal on it is receiving 12v but when the ignition is turned on, all of the 'Glow plug' output pins are showing 0v, meaning none of the glowplugs are getting power.

This could be a relay problem, or a control problem. The problem is the control connector is too thin and I cant get the multimeter into the holes to see if they are sending power to the relay so it can switch the power to the outlet pins.

Does anyone know if this relay is fed by a fuse, (that may be blown) and if so where the fuse is.

Also, how and where does the relay receive its signal from, and how is this tested.

Ive searched and found articles of how to check the relay but not for this type of relay, only the older type, and the fuse diagrams I have found no not mention a glow plug fuse.

Thanks in advance

Chris
