w220 headlights help?

Hi, I want to swap the headlight in my 2001 w220 s320L cdi for the newer crystal ones.

How do i go about this as the factory ones in my car are xenon and the crystal ones i want are none xenon.

How does the wiring work on the headlights? When i remove the old ones will i be able to fit the xenons into the new headlights? Or, will i need a new xenon kit? Or, may it not work at all because of the wrong connectors/plugs?

Light units are different for xenon and halogen bulbs. If you currently have xenons, I would not go for the newer halogens. The wiring should need some rework too although I did not look at it and cannot tell how much.
