Not sure if this helps but my drivers side heated seat base is not working so I checked with MB regarding how the element was positioned / fitted and what was involved in replacing the heater element in case it was not a fuse / wiring problem. Mine is a 2003 car and the element is actually integral with the seat foam (Part number MA220 910 26 50) and costs £97.50 plus VAT to replace the foam and element. I only mention it as the different people I asked had a different understanding of what was involved. It ranged from being integral with the leather cover and so requiring a new cover, to slipping a new element over the foam.

I replaced the seat back cover on my old 124 which was easy enough, anyone know whether removing the leather seat cover and replacing the foam on a W220 is just as easy?

Havent got a clue on the 220:D my 210 was a right pain, but wifes 203 was very easy, almost clip together.

On 210 heater element is integral with the leather seat facing.

Maybe google 220 heated seat?

Aplogies, but for some reason I can't PM you. It maybe that it is not activated as I only have a low number of posts on this forum. Also, tried to cut and paste the email address from your profile but no joy.

Can anyone one offer me some adult supervision :o

You need 30 posts:) to stop spammers etc i would imagine.

I did put my email address in my profile as suggested and it was there for a while but is gone now.

Not to worry, the text should be good enough and thanks for trying.

PS did you see my seperate post asking about you chrome additions to the interior?
