If you can’t get the cable gripped at the front , you may be able to remove the rear wheels and use a screwdriver in the rear hub to wind in the knurled adjuster on the parking brake pads ?

Perhaps access the inner cable at the adjuster/splitter by the rear axle?

As above ^^^^^^ Does this car have the access flap in the drive tunnel under the rear seats like mine has ? I have no idea but if it has its simple to get to, lift seat squab (usually a few bolts) open access flap (one bolt) , release tension on cable with 13mm spanner until shoes are free of hubs. Drive.
