For some time now the front left speaker on my S Class pops and crackles when the ignition is first turned on and then nothing, no sound from any input. But this is intermittent. Sometimes it works fine.
I've read others posts on the subject and have tried all sorts of advice from checking/changing fuses to resets of the command unit and so on but have not been able to resolve.
Today I noticed something weird. When the front passenger door (and only this door) is opened, the speaker works! Stops working when the door is closed.
What's going on? Anyone?
