w220 s600, 2001

Hi,

There is a w220 s600 from 2001, 124,000 miles, looks like pretty much all the trimmings, for sale:

Mercedes S600 Long Wheelbase for sale, classic cars for sale uk (Car: 94508)

I am going to see it tomorrow. Am thinking of buying it and then fitting some cool bodykit to it, new wheels and re-sprayed. What is the AMG bodykit like? Cant find pics...

Also, what do you experts think of this plan?!! Price??

Lot of car for the money - should be left in standard trim IMO.

Running / servicing / maintenance could be horrific.

It does indeed. The bug has bitten of the w220. Did not want to reveal too much too early on here but to cut a long story short, it will be replaced with a biturbo W220 that fate happened to put across my path (literally - he was blocking me in at my car spot!)
