I am considering changing my side lights on my W220 to led white bulbs to hopefully get rid of the original ones that give the yellow light, but can someone tell me if I am running the risk of getting a fault message by fitting these.

(long story cut short "has anyone else did this mod and had problems")

Cheers

I suspect you will get a bulb warnin g message if you fit these bulbs. You may need to wire in a resistor.

Thanks for that but if the warning comes up is there a way to clear it without taking it to a garage?

the warning light will come up every time you put the lights on... however if you get philips blue vision they will give a crisp white light with no side effects.. have them on all my cars.

These are what you want, no error gauranteed :)

The only W5W LED that gives no error. Resistor is built in.
