W221 Adding tv tuner to car

Hi all,
After some advice, apologies if it has been asked before but I failed to find anything using the search function.

I am looking at an buying a 2007 S class I have seen with rear seat entertainment. You can play dvd films in the rear two screens and the front but it does not have a tuner apparently. Is it possible to add a digital tuner to it? Did the rear seat package come without a tuner or is it just that this one has failed.

Rear entertainment and TV are separate options

It can be retrofitted - its painful as you have to replace the antenna pack above rear windscreen and antenna wiring which is hard work (and takes a long time with lots to dismantle) , and run video feeds to both the front and to the rear entertainment controller (and that loom is expensive). And the TV tuner part itself is about £800. so you are on quite a large amount of £££ to add TV.

Thank you kindly for that info. I will consider it not financially worth it and decide based on no tv.
