I had my car valeted yesterday at work and when I left the office I noticed that the trim on the cover for the cup holders was loose. I jiggled it a little but it wouldn't go on properly and because of the way it was sitting, the cover wouldn't lock down properly. It looks like there should be a clip at the top of the part that's now broken off: Closeup: And this is what happens when I tried to close it: I'm sure that if I went to Mercedes they'd probably end up trying to sell me a whole brand new cupholder, and given that the insert was expensive enough last time I'd rather not. I've looked through a couple of parts sites for MB, but can't see this specific bit. Can anyone help me out in finding a new one? I THINK it's this, with the part numbered "230" in the diagram Mercedes-Benz Car Maj. assy FG?Chassis 221122 S 320 CDI / S 350 CDI PANELLING HOUSING WITH TRAY for 17vin.com (if it loads. It took a load of attempts for me). I put my VIN in and it says it fits and the correct colour option is there (buckskin), but I can't see how to order the bit?
