Oh joy, 6 months and 4.5k miles after spending £Stupid money on a new DPF I'm rewarded with a new problem: 14B100.

It's one of the air mass sensors (Don't know which side14B100 is)
The Fuel filter was changed by a MB specialist 500 miles ago, so here's what I'm going to do.
- Check that the unit is properly fitted.
- Remove the unit and check that the seals were fitted properly
- Check the plastic for cracks
- Check surrounding pipes for leaks
- check condition of the air filters (only 10k miles on them)
- check the wiring physical condition
- Check wiring voltages. Is it three pin? ground, 5V and signal?

I really really don't want to give Mercedes Benz £950 for a new set of sensors.

Does this help

I recently said in another thread I'm no longer surprised when I find badly fitted parts.
I paid for a MB service recently, the air box would have been removed to fit a new fuel filter.
I wonder if this has anything to do with my issue?

I would be having a loud word whilst brandishing copies of your pics at the MB reception desk - ideally on a Saturday morning when the showroom is full. I have always found dealerships more amenable if you are a loud unhappy customer when the showroom is full.

Oops, "I paid for a MB service recently," that should have been "I paid for a MB Specialist service recently,"
