W221 Only one wiper & no screenwash facility?

Hi,

I have a W221 S320CDi. Just recently, it has developed an intermittent fault which is that the passenger side wiper stops working and at the same time, the screenwash system stops also. It seems to happen randomly and yet fairly often. Sometimes I can reset it by stopping the engine & restarting; things then often work normally for a while, before it reverts back to the fault.

If I put the wipers on constant wipe, the fault doesn't seem to happen at all, it's only when I have them on intermittent wipe, when after a short while the fault will manifest itself.

Can anyone help please?

Surely it is still under Warranty?

Why mess with it get the Dealer to FIX it.
