Hi all, ive got my heart set on buying a w221 s320 cdi. I have test drove 3 and love the drive
However ive been reading up and there are some horror stories about the crankshaft bearing getting noisy after oil changes. Also the 7g box? This is all new to me. Ive had a few mercs but older ones-190e, w202 and a w140
Also im looking at a 57 plate prefacelift-the bargain ones have around 100k, but there is a beautiful example with 78k for almost 9k, whereas the 100k ones are around 7k
What are your thoughts and feedback pls? I testdrove a 58 plate 730d bmw and its nothing like the w221, i really want one but the horror stories are scaring me
