W221 S320L CDI OM642 Fuel Leak

Dear all,

I have developed a hairline crack in my Bosch high pressure fuel pump. Diesel is leaking only when the engine is cold as I believe metal expands when warm and stops leaking. I have marked the edge of the housing where it is leaking from.

Is there any hope of repairing this? Can I fill the edge with anything to seal leak or should I just buy a used one for about £100?

If cr3 type pump leaks, it is sometimes just loosen bolts behind the pump. If there is really crack in body, I wouldn't even try to repair it...
