W221 S500 noisy heater

Afternoon all. I’ve got an issue with a noisy heater but I’m pretty sure it’s not the blower, there’s no issue with heater performance and the noise which is like a squeaky rattle ( technical term )which comes and goes once the cars warm seems to come from the bulkhead at the back of the engine, I’m thinking it might be the auxiliary coolant pump but there’s no way of getting a proper look down there. It only started when I had to drop the coolant out to replace the alternator a few weeks ago. Anyone else had any issues with this. Ta in advance. Paul.

Yes, i had exactly the same noise. The garage said it was the coolant pump, which they changed. nice and quite now

The water pump was £ 176.00 + £150.00 Fitting, at my indi.
