W245 rear cenre jacking point

Evening all,

Just want to pick your brains regarding the rear centre Jacking point on the B class.

I can see where it goes, but is it inbetween the plastic shroud or do I rest the jack (with protection) on the front of the shroud where the surface changes to a non slip area?

do i need an adapter to rest on part # 40?

links and info would be appreciated

Not at all sure, even though I own a W245 but it looks as though it's jacked through the hole on the shroud. Have a feel around for any metal above the hole.

its quite deep so I think it would need some sort of adapter
