W246 Adjusting the permanent multifunction display

Hello,

My first post. Sorry if this is the wrong forum.

I have a new W246 B180 CDI Sport. I'll list below the options that are on it's datasheet.

Can anyone tell me how to change the permanent multifunction display? i.e. this one:

The above photo is not my car (it's one I found on google). Mine is set the km/hr. It should really be m/hr. Or ideally it would be nice to show the outside temp like the image above.

I've read the owners manual and I don't have the settings it describes. Is it forever going to be stuck on showing km/hr?

Unfortunately you cant, I have a W246 too and have tried Mercedes and the guys at Comand (who seem to know far more than Mercedes) and its impossible on a UK car

Seems some bright spark at Mercedes interpreted some rule about showing It permanently , kinda strange as I dont know any other car maker that did this, after a while you will learn to live with it, what makes it even worse is they have the optiob to change from Mph to Kph in menu so its not needed

I contacted Mercedes in Milton Keynes ( Cust Service) and they guy I spike to just didnt get why someone would prefer outside temp to kph but then he did sound Spanish.

Is it possible to upgrade this display to the >2014 version?
