W447 V Class 250 D
Apologies if this has been asked and answered already. I’m trying to replace auxiliary battery on my V Class 250d, followed instructions on a YouTube video and managed to disconnect and pull old battery out. When I tried to put new one in I realised the length of vent tube is too short to plug it in the new battery. Literally impossible to put your hand in and connect it to the battery?

I wonder if anyone else has come across the same issue and if there was a way around it?
Thank you in advance

Edit* it’s a 2017 model V class W447 and video link is https://m.youtube.com/results?sp=mAEA&search_query=w447+auxiliary+battery

You have bigger hands than the guy on the video?

Or is your battery different from the old one?
