W638, where's the EGR valve located

Hi guys,

I'd like to check in what condition my EGR valve is and consequently clean it if necessary. My problem is that I can't locate the EGR valve in the engine bay . Can someone help me locate it?

Car: Vito 2.2 CDI

Year: 2003

Well... looks like I don't have an EGR valve...?

I just bought a Vito and discovered that the EGR valve is missing on mine as well. I think they were removed and the engine remapped to ignore EGR. Did your Vito pass the APK / MOT without it?
