W639 115 Diesel IAT - Air temp sensor

Good afternoon,

I wonder if you could kindly help and point me in right direction,

My 2009 115 W639 has 2 fault codes, P0100 and P0110 (MAF and Intake air temp respectively)

Firstly, is there a common fault that brings these up?

Secondly If not, i have ordered a new MAF and IAT, I know where the MAF is, but i am unable to locate the IAT, Can you please point me in the right area of engine?

There is a strong smell of diesel upon starting and I hope to rectify this with the above changes

Is this an OM646 engine ?
Does it have a DPF ?

115, in 2009 is the om646.

For the air intake temp sensor follow the plastic ducting out from the intercooler, not sure which side. It should be a simple push in sensor. Squeeze the 2 tabs at the rear of it and withdraw.

When ouit expect to see 2 wires to a small glass(ish) bulb.

About "20 should buy a new one.

Did replacing the IAT work for you? I just replaced mine and I've still got problems
