W639 barn door problems

Hello all.
Bought an 05 reg Vito on Friday, all was well until lunch time today when the rear barn doors refused to open.
They unlock with the central locking, but regardless of how I try, I just can't get them open from outside or inside!
Absolutely stumped as this problem wasn't present at 9am today! But by lunchtime utterly shut!
Any suggestions of what's happened or how to fix it?

sounds like the cable that releases the lock mechanism has come off the lock, meaning it cannot open the latch , or the locks had it. If you can get the panel off the inside of the locking leaf of the door you should be able to see whats happened.

Cheers nick. I'll strip the inner panel off and have a look today. Fingers crossed.
