w639 ecu fan runs constantly..normal?

Hi and greetings from Finland!:bannana:

My ECU fan is running constantly, it never stops, even after the car has been sitting still for a good day or two, keys out of ign., doors locked, i can hear the fan running..
and yes i'm sure it's the ECU fan since i found the fan from the bottom of the electronics box..two wires going to the fan..sticked my finger there and felt it spinning ..
Is it really supposed to permanently cool the ECU?? How it should work?

Hi there, I have exactly the same problem - some days it goes off about 5 min after the key leaves the ignition, other days it flattens the battery. I'm tryingto find how to disable it, or even hook it up to the ignition key "on" wire so it only runs when needed.
