HI All
Hoping that my Viano is not going to turn into an absolute money pit - I have had it about a month now and its developed a squeaking from the rear. It sounds like a rusty bed spring and increases frequency with speed. It is louder and more prominent at low speeds and stops when the clutch is down or the engine is not under load.
My first thoughts are prop shaft bearing or the rear diff bearing. Does any one know if these are a, replaceable and b, if there is any way to test/diagnose the failed part?
The vehicle is a 2006 Viano 2.2cdi
