I'm thinking that one of these might be suitable for our requirements - a number seem to be available as Japanese imports.

Seymour Pope had an X-Clusive which only has six seats (I'd require at least seven) but is, I think the top of the range.

From what I can ascertain, Ambiente is the top non-specialist trim level with Trend being the entry level.

I'd avoid the SWB and the LWB.

Any experience or knowledge about these would be great. I don't imagine that we'd be doing many miles annually - perhaps 2-3k.

I see by the mileage you have stated that it will not be an airport taxi , but has the unfortunate DNA of looking like one . probably a vey sound vehicle with a great spec if it meets your needs , but personally I would avoid black . And the AMG badge ?

PS . I do have experience as a paying passenger in these 'vans' (not one with such a nice engine though) and I always found the ride a bit harsh, might be better on one of this spec though.

I've wondered how these go so long w/o doing mileage.
Japan isn't that small.

With the amount of clocking of English examples I'm cynical.
Can the mileage at sale, in Japan, be confirmed.

I believe that the ambiente specs have rear air bags. The X-Clusive isn't necessarily one that I'd consider, I'd be happy with a comfortable Ambiente, though I'm sure someone will be able to set me straight.

I don't know, but it's a prudent question.

However, in some instances these are established businesses and must possess a reputation.
