Suspected ABS pump / control unit fault.
I'm thinking of buying a used ABS pump and ECU unit to see if it fixes the problems I have.
The questions are:
Will an ABS pump (same part number) from another vehicle be compatible electronically?
Would it need to be encoded / is it possible to encode the pump for my vehicle? If possible is this a Mercedes Dealership only job or could I do it?
Are there any other implications if I fit a used pump?
Advice is appreciated, thanks in advance.
