Want to upgrade speakers in brand new e-class? Is it possible?

Just got new E saloon 220 SE, standard car with no extras. I find the audio quality quite poor and wonder about upgrading the speakers? Any advice or suggestions welcome.

Is it possible? Is it practical? Will I need more than just speakers (i.e. Amplifier?)
