Wanted a little plastic screw in the wing mirror

Hello, I need a little screw that make the mirror move. There are 2 but one of mine is broken... Mercedes only sale the complete motor I was told, a wee dear compare to a 10 cents plastic screw.
Anyone has one or knows where can I get one?

Try re-attaching the "ball" ( if you have got it )with a small self tapping screw- you will have drill a recess into the ball head for the screw head first Use the other one as a template for dimensions. When you screw in the self tapper use a dab of super glue in a predrilled hole in the threaded section. worth a try since I doubt you will get one without buying the motor assembly.

The ball is gone. Never saw it. My only chances will be if someone as a broken motor or wing mirror and get the screw out.

Is that mirror the same one that's found on W202s (early C Class), do you know?

Do you need OS or NS?

I dunno at all. Yes it's a W210, E class TD 1997.
One will think that they do "one fit all" for the motor?

I saw a smashed up C Class with a broken mirror at a local junkyard the other day. Next time I'm there I'll see if I can find one or two of these bits. Are they the things that move the mirror about when you fiddle with the control inside the car?

Yes they are those bits. There are two attach to the motor, up/ down, and left/right.

I don't need a new unit, the motor is fine, the only think is the wee head missing... But I guess now they sale you the whole unit, soon You'll need to replace the car for a bit that cost pennies...
The moron who had this car before treated it really badly... Sad.
Anyway, it's nearly all fine now and wot a great car

Try buying a mirror on ebay. They come up often and usually around the £30 mark.
