Not the answers im looking for. But cheers guys least if I find somewhere I can ask how much a group buy will be.

Just got a quote from Elite Direct.com (maybe.co.uk) £1685 Inc VAT + DEL Fitted with hangsangyongnagwang :D :D (Budget Brand) tyres 225/40/18 + 255/35/18

Seems quite a good deal so may have to stretch the plastic :D

Sounds more like bending till it breaks to me :D
Did you ask them about a group buy,it might generate some discount?

why not do a group import from the US like syfaphonetic did with his 18" AMGs for his SL? I seem to remember it cost him just about £950 .. no tyres however.

So anyone know of any US alloy suppliers. What about German imports?

There is a guy on ebay that normally sells them (it would help if I could remember his ID!) I got mine from him with part worn pilot sports for £1100, he's located in Leeds, I just drove up to pick em up. I'll find out his name and post it this afternoon. Maybe I should negotiate a commission with him ;)

**EDIT** Seems he is no longer a registered user

Sorry!

Just dropped you a PM mambo. Let me know your dealings with him.

syfaphonetic got it from www.tirerack.com -- there's prices on there too.

US owners on benzworld.org are advised to contact:

Luke Pavlick
Performance Specialist
ASE Certified Master Tech
877-522-8473 ext. 362
[email protected]

Unfortunately the US market does not have the wheels I want yet ...

I'm watching this thread with interest! :)

Luke at tirerack used to post on some of the US forums. Maybe we should ask him for some details, he could arrange a group buy with separate shipping addresses and credicards surely?

You would think the cheapest place to get the wheels would be Germany, maybe MBenzNL has a contact?
