Hi all,

If you have a new genuine or high quality set of HT leads for a E430 2001 please let me know.

Cheers

Hi,
The cheapest set I have seen for sale has been from ECP, specially with the forum discount.

Sorry i had missed your reply!
I saw those, but not sure about the quality?
I think i will bite the bullet and get a performance set as they are cheaper than mb parts by far.
Having said that my wifes uses the E430 more than me and is not getting on with it in the snow!
Such a shame so few 4wd Merc options.
I fear a return to Quattro :(

The OE ones are made by Bremi, I've bought a full set for a m112 engine for about £100. The m113 ones won't be more than around £125.

Cheers, will hunt them down!
Much appreciated.

Thanks for that - i was struggling to find them for less than £215 so have dropped them a line.
Im not certain i need them, its the very slightest of miss fires and nothing showing on star. Got to be worth a try?

If you look at live data, it should show which cylinder is misfiring, even if the fault counter doesn't show it

I am pretty sure the guy did that. It was a few months back now so need to look at my notes.
He thought it was almost nothing but i can tell something not quite 100% - it has a very slight shudder now and again. Might be intermittent and not showing on star?
Car has full MB history, but he did notice some of the leads were not MB parts.
So thought got t be worth changing?

If you have leads breaking down it will show on live data: smooth running. If not you are wasting your money!

Thanks .... What could it be then if it doesn't show up?
Any ideas appreciated, especially if the parts are cheap! Will try a few things.
