Looking for a Mercedes S350 facelift version (around late 2009-2013), must be Euro 6 (to avoid ULEZ charge).

Prefer LWB with front heated memory seats and rear reclining seats. Also, rear blinds would be good.

In terms of mileage, around 70k but will consider higher mileage cars if looked after.

What would I expect to pay for a 2010 S350 70k as above? I have a budget of £11,000 - is this achievable?

Do you mean Euro 5?

You are going to struggle getting Euro 6 on the earlier plates - 2013 is possible but I don't think the W221s are Euro 6 compliant even then (W222 is).

Worth checking the reg of some late W221s on the London ulez site to see if any are compliant.

I think the bluefficiency aren’t compliant and the bluetec are. For most Mercs the switch seems to be 2015, although I think some ML class cars were compliant in 2014 so may be true for the S too.

Even a bluetec s350 wont be ulez compliant.

Could be confusing petrol and diesel in this thread.

The ULEZ standards are:

  • Euro 3 for motorcycles, mopeds, motorised tricycles and quadricycles (L category)
  • Euro 4 for petrol cars, vans, minibuses and other specialist vehicles
  • Euro 6 for diesel cars, vans and minibuses and other specialist vehicles
  • Euro VI for lorries, buses and coaches and other specialist heavy vehicles

How strange, mine shows as not exempt

I’ve not seen any diesel MB pre 2013 that was compliant in searches I have done. On the C and E class it seems to be 2015 are the earliest in diesel form that are EU6 and therefore ULEZ exempt.

Petrol you can have a much earlier car maybe 2004ish as they only have to be EU4 as said.

Sounds like a bit of a lottery then.

I checked a few facelifts previously when I thought they were not and they all came up as exempt (must have been 5 I tried of differing ages but all facelift).
