WANTED-ignition Amplifier-Merc74?

Hi there, looking for an ignition Amplifier for a 1973 280ce.
might not be my problem at all but when i opened it up, it was full of crusty white stuff and something around this area of elecs isn't working! anyone have one spare? Merc 74, i can't pm due to lack of posts but do u have on one the Eseries your breaking? Thanks alot!

Part number on the side is 0227 051014, its bosch and when looking at front of the car, its on the right near the front, next to the coil. square/Rectangle shape with cooling fins on and attached to the side of wing/engine bay. Much appreciated, if you find it and its the right one, let me know what you want for it! i did read somewhere that the last 3 numbers may differ but are the same. I have 2 thick wires going into it,one with an inner and outer wire and anothewr with 4 pins on it. Thanks alot

There are two on ebay right now for less that £100 shipped to the UK (one of which is new) with that exact part number.
